Chris Kim is a Multifamily Investment Advisor at Ally Commercial Real Estate, where he specializes in helping buyers, sellers, and developers navigate multifamily transactions across Greater Los Angeles and Southern California.

Before entering commercial real estate, Chris spent nearly a decade in public sector urban planning — working for the City of Los Angeles, the City of Beverly Hills, and the City of Santa Clarita. That experience shapes how Chris approaches every transaction: a working knowledge of zoning, entitlements, and land use that informs how he evaluates opportunities and guides clients through complex transactions.

A graduate of California State University, Northridge, where he earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Urban Planning, Chris brings the same analytical rigor to his real estate practice that defined his planning career — with a focus on helping clients find, underwrite, and close the right multifamily opportunities.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Chris lives in the city with his wife and son. Outside the office, you'll find him on the golf course or catching a basketball game.
